Taylor Armstrong, the reality television personality known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has publicly apologized after her social media comments about Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show sparked widespread backlash.
Armstrong initially criticized the NFL’s choice of headliner after the halftime performance on February 8, writing on Instagram that she was “embarrassed for the NFL and Apple” because the show was “totally in Spanish with a Cuban flag,” a remark that drew swift condemnation online.
By Wednesday, Armstrong had walked back her criticism, admitting in a lengthy Instagram Story that her original post “did not fully reflect my heart or my respect for the artist and culture as a whole.”
According to Daily Mail, she acknowledged she had mistakenly identified a flag during the show and expressed regret for her lack of awareness about Latin culture.
Moreover, Armstrong stressed that her intention was never to offend and said she plans to “learn from this in the future,” praising the diversity of American culture and the contributions of artists from all backgrounds.
As per the outlet, the Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny made history as the first Latino solo act to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show, which drew a massive global audience and featured performances by guest stars including Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
