Melissa Joan Hart, the American actress who captured hearts in the 1990s and early 2000s, is marking her 49th birthday with reflections on a career that spans more than three decades.

Best known for starring as the title character in Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hart also earned recognition for Clarissa Explains It All and later the sitcom Melissa & Joey, solidifying her place in television history.

In a recent interview at a Los Angeles industry event, Hart admitted she rarely watches her classic shows, calling them “a little cringe”, despite their enduring fan base.

According to Daily Mail, she revealed that she only revisited Melissa & Joey when she had to live-tweet episodes, and even forgot a guest appearance she made on Boy Meets World until reminded.

Moreover, Hart reflected on how growing up on TV helped shape her work ethic but also acknowledged that it impacted her social development.

She praised her parents for grounding her with normal childhood experiences like Girl Scouts and family trips.
