Diplo is about to blow the minds of music lovers everywhere with his latest project, a collaboration with K-pop kings BTS.

The 47-year-old DJ and producer gave fans a sneak peek during a chat with TMZ at the 2026 Fanatics Super Bowl Party at Pier 48 on Saturday.

“The album’s been crazy,” he admitted, referring to ARIRANG, BTS’s fifth studio effort.

“I think it’s the biggest pre-sale of all time, and they’re the biggest band in the world.”

The producer described the band, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook,  as hands-on, creative, and “the real deal.”

He singled out Jungkook, 28, for his flawless, no-auto-tune vocals and cheeky sense of humour.

Diplo also fired a friendly warning at K-pop sceptics: “Those are grown men… They’ve been in the Army, they’ve lived life. And they dance better than any of us.”

He even admitted the boys “smell really good.”

The new album marks BTS’s first group release in nearly four years, following a hiatus for mandatory military service.

Recorded in July 2025, ARIRANG promises to reflect each member’s voice while “shocking the world.”

Dropping on March 20, fans can also expect two behind-the-scenes Netflix specials and a follow-up world tour.

Diplo summed it up perfectly: “It’s gonna be the biggest thing I’ve ever done, but I’m so happy to be part of that culture.”
