Amelia Dimoldenberg, who has interviewed a number of a-list actors for her show Chicken Shop Date, has now set her sights on a more ambitious project.
The comedian had previously teased wanting to go bigger in her interviews, but now she has been officially tied to a solid project.
As per Variety, the English presenter is working on a romantic comedy for Amazon MGM Studios’ Orion Pictures.
The outlet notes that Amelia is set to star in the film “as a by-the-book journalist whose carefully planned life unravels when a routine celebrity interview unexpectedly turns into a romance that makes her question everything she believes about love.”
The premise of the upcoming film seems to be a continuation of Chicken Shop Date, since in the series the 32-year-old plays up her naturally awkward, charming and flirtatious persona which sometimes ends up confusing celebrity guests who question if the date is real or not.
Notably, soon after Amelia confirmed the news, her interview with Paul Mescal began making rounds on the internet in which she had asked him if he would play the male lead in it.
Amelia is reportedly not in a relationship currently, despite sparking romance rumours with a number of celebrities.
