Ariana Grande has given Hollywood the tiniest casting idea ever.
The 32-year-old pop superstar joked that if anyone were to make a movie about her life, she’d only accept a “tiny mouse” in the lead role.
In a chat with Backstage, Ariana said: “A tiny mouse with subtitles the whole time. I would like that, actually.
It would be a tiny, beautiful short film with mice reenacting my whole life with little, tiny subtitles at the bottom. That’s the only version of it that I'm interested in.”
The Thank U, Next hitmaker even teased a cheeky title: Scrap This and Don’t Watch It.
Ariana, who recently waved goodbye to her Broadway role as Glinda in Wicked, reflected on her whirlwind career.
She described leaving the musical as “a beautiful time to put it in a beautiful book on the shelf next to the other L. Frank Baum books that I collect.”
She added that stepping away felt “right” after years of juggling acting and pop stardom.
Despite her massive fame, Zoolander 2 star admitted landing Glinda was tricky, as many didn’t immediately see her as an actress.
“I had to do a lot of deconstructing to convince a lot of people that I could disappear into her,” she said.
After 15 non-stop years of music, TV, and theatre, Ariana hinted a career break might be on the cards.
