Sabrina Carpenter injected her custom touch of innocence into the Super Bowl with a snack advertisement.
The commercial takeaway was her on-screen passion with a crispy love interest, following a prank on a mysterious romance.
The commercial during the big game revealed Pringleleo, a man entirely constructed from piled crackly chips.
The advertisement begins with the 26-year-old saying “I’m tired of boys, I need a man,” and “build him.”
This is after a quick love montage of 30 seconds in which the two are coquetting, road-tripping and cuddling over the song, Guarda che luna by Fred Buscaglione.
This love affair is terminated as a swarm of Sabrina's fans ripping Pringleleo apart, though, as the ad humorously notes, “his body parts taste nice.”
This is the ninth time that Pringles appears in the Super Bowl, and the slogan that was used to popularise the product is brought back.
“It has been very exciting to bring this renewed creative direction to advertising’s biggest night,” said Mauricio Jenkins.
Pringles US marketing lead marked, “Our ninth consecutive Big Game ad brings all the fun that fans have come to expect… with the perfect blend of playful gen z humour, an iconic pop star and the nostalgic charm of ‘Once You Pop’.”
They knew how to make the two sister companies come together, creating an unforgettable love story with Sabrina and our brand, Jenkins added.
An extended cut of the brand has also been released with intentions of launching a large multi-platform marketing campaign around the advertisement.
