Anna Sawai opened up about her role in The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, in which she is set to star next to Harris Dickinson.
Sawai will star was Yoko Ono, wife of John Lennon played by Harris Dickinson.
In an interview with the Entertainment Tonight, talking about the Japanese artist and musician, the Shogun star said, "I think people don't really know her story. I'm excited to show how she really was and her background and where she comes from."
The four films are currently in production. In addition to Dickson as Lennon, Paul Mescal starring as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.
Talking about working with male stars on set, she said, "It's really amazing just being on set with the boys and seeing them jam together. It really feels like I'm watching The Beatles."
Apart from Sawai, Saoirse Ronan will star as Lind McCartney, Mia McKenna-Bruce will play Maureen Starkey, Starr’s first wife and Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd, Harrison’s wife.
The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event is slated to release on April 7, 2028.
