Taylor Momsen made headlines late last year by saying that she would be open to reunite with Jim Carrey for a sequel of the cult classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and now the actress has given an update on her statement.

“Not that I know of, Some things don’t touch,” the Gossip Girl alum stated to the New York Post, adding of the film, “Timeless classic. It’s lasted this long.”

Momsen had previously remarked, “When Jim Carrey asks you to do something, you pay attention so we’ll see.”

The duo had also reunited last year, and the actress who played Cindy Lou Who in the film had gushed over the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind actor and how she felt right at home reconnecting with him at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Momsen also recalled how sweet and protective Carrey was while they worked together since she was just five years old while shooting for the Dr. Seuss adapted 2000’s movie.

Why did Taylor Momsen stop acting?

Momsen had formed her band The Pretty Reckless, and wanted to pursue music full-time.
