Gordon Ramsay has spoken out over the bitter family feud surrounding his daughter Holly’s marriage to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.

The 59-year-old fiery Hell’s Kitchen star revealed that only Adam’s sister attended the couple’s wedding last December, but was adamant that he and wife Tana had done absolutely nothing wrong.

In fact, Gordon says they rolled out the red carpet.

“We welcomed them,” he told the Daily Mail

“We sent a chauffeur-driven car to the engagement party and treated them like royalty. To then get that barrage of press was very hurtful. Tana took it very seriously.”

Despite rumours swirling online, Gordon stressed it was Holly, 26, and Adam, 31, who chose not to invite his parents to the wedding.

“That was their wish, and we had to respect it,” he said.

“There’s stuff they need to sort out as parents. That’s nothing to do with Tana and me.”

Still, Gordon admits he wants peace especially for the sake of the newlyweds.

Tana, 51, echoed the sentiment, admitting family fallouts are “really negative” and bring “no winners”.

For those unfamiliar, the feud first exploded last November amid claims Adam’s mother was snubbed from Holly’s hen do, sparking a public war of words and an emotional Instagram statement from Adam, who insisted he, Holly and sister Bethany were unfairly “targeted”.
