Nicola Peltz’s dad breaks silence on Beckham wedding drama

Nicola Peltz Beckham’s billionaire father, Nelson, has finally broken his silence amid the very public family feud rocking the Beckham household.

Speaking at a WSJ Invest Live event this week, the 83-year-old businessman was asked about navigating high-stakes situations under public scrutiny. 

Nelson quipped with trademark dry humour, “Has my family been in the press lately? I haven’t noticed that at all,” drawing laughs from the audience.

But behind the joke was a clear attempt to cool tensions after son-in-law Brooklyn Beckham’s explosive Instagram post aimed at his famous parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham. 

“My advice is to stay the hell out of the press,” Nelson said bluntly. “How much good did that do?”

He made it clear where his priorities lie while declining to dive into the drama.

“My daughter’s great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great, and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together,” he said warmly. 

Asked if he offers the couple advice, the father-of-ten added, “I do. Sometimes they give me advice.”

His comments come just weeks after Brooklyn stunned fans with a deeply personal social media statement accusing his parents of trying to “ruin” his relationship with Nicola. 

He also alleged his mother hijacked their wedding’s first dance, calling the moment humiliating and emotionally damaging.

In the emotional post, the aspiring chef insisted his wife does not control him and revealed that stepping away from his family has brought him peace for the first time in his life. 

The couple, he said, want nothing more than “peace, privacy and happiness” as they build their future together.
