Anna Hathaway recalled a major change in Meryl Streep acting since they worked on the original The Devil Wears Prada in 2006.
Following the release of sequel's first trailer, Hathaway shared her working experience with the co-star after 20 years.
In an interview with Vogue, The Princess Diary star said that she was grateful Streep didn't go method on set this time.
"I heard over the radio: ‘Miranda Priestly is walking.' Meryl, as Miranda, had started down the hallway ahead of me, I was maybe 50 feet behind her, and seeing her from the back was practically psychedelic," Hathaway said of her first screen-test for part 2.
She continued, "I just felt so many portals open up at that moment. I was 22 again, but it was still now."
The Intern actress joked that since Streep wasn't doing method acting this time "we had a lot of laughs."
Previously, the Mama Mia star told the Entertainment Weekly, that she gave up the method acting style after her experience on the first movie.
She recalled it as "horrible" as she used to be sad and depressed while everyone else on the set was "rocking and laughing."
The Devil Wears Prada 2 also starring Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci is set to release on May 1.
