Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo after suffering from Oscars snub won big at Grammys.
The actress who starred in Wicked franchise as Glinda (Grande) and Elphaba (Erivo), won the Best Pop Vocal Duo for Defying Gravity.
However, neither of them were present to receive the award.
For Grande, this is the sixth consecutive year missing the Recording Academy's big night.
Meanwhile, Erivo was unable to attend the event as she was honoured at Critics' Circle Theater Awards in London with the Derek Malcom Award for Innovation.
The Eternal Sunshine singer took to her Instagram account to celebrate the big win.
Taking to her stories, she wrote, "This is so special!) @recordingacademy thank you so so so much!"
She added, "Congratulations to the incredible @cynthiaerivo. I love you and am so grateful to share this."
Erivo has yet to acknowledge the win.
The duo's win comes after Erivo took home her first Grammy in 2017 for Best Musical Theater Album, following her work in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple.
On the other hand, Grande won Best Pop Vocal Album in 2019 for Sweetener, as well as Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2021 for Rain on Me with Lady Gaga.
Grande and Erivo were nominated alongside ROSÉ and Bruno Mars for APT., SZA and Kendrick Lamar for 30 for 30, KATSEYE's Gabriela, and HUNTR/X: EJAE, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI's work on Golden for KPop Demon Hunters.
