Charli XCX is officially ready to say goodbye to Brat and she’s making it clear there will be no encore tour.
The 34-year-old pop powerhouse has revealed she has zero plans to hit the road again for her wildly successful album.
She hinted that her new mockumentary The Moment could be the final chapter of the era that dominated 2024 and 2025.
Speaking during Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector series, Charli admitted she’s more than happy to close the door on Brat as long as it doesn’t involve more touring.
Despite Charli’s desire to move on, The Moment has exploded into a surprise cinema hit.
The film became the fastest-selling limited release in A24’s history, with over 50 screenings selling out across major cities.
Speaking at the film’s Sundance premiere, she admitted she “wants Brat to stop”, saying she’s eager to “switch the creative soup” and dive into film projects with directors like Zamiri, Gregg Araki and Cathy Yan.
Moreover, the Official singer has cheekily admitted she’d be “open” to recording a James Bond theme.
The pop superstar, who has just wrapped soundtrack duties for the upcoming Wuthering Heights film starring Margot Robbie, said she’s realistic about her chances when it comes to 007.
Speaking on Julia Cunningham’s SiriusXM show, Charli laughed: “I don’t think I am built for that. I probably sing with too much AutoTune to do a James Bond.
Never say never — I’m open to it if they want to call me, which they won’t!”
The pop superstar is firmly embracing a new chapter in film, despite doubting a Bond moment.
