Ye marks strong comeback in Mexico concert with daughter North

Ye has returned to the stage and reclaimed his power in a sold-out concert in Mexico City on January 30, even inviting his daughter North to perform some tracks alongside him.

The Runaway rapper sang to a crowd of over 40,000 people who echoed all of his iconic tracks such as Can’t Tell Me Nothing, Power and Heartless back to him as he marked his first appearance in the locations since 2008.

At one point the 24-time Grammy winner brought out his eldest daughter, who has expressed a newfound interest in producing beats and rapping, following the trajectory of her father’s career and the two shared the stage.

North and Ye performed Only One together and the 12-year-old also gave the crowd the first live rendition of her track Piercing on My Hand.

The Flashing Lights hit maker’s appearance comes after his comprehensive and lengthy apology for his words and actions in recent years, which were highly controversial due to their racist nature.

It appears that the apology has been accepted by some members of the communities that took offense to his words, such as streamer Adin Ross, who revealed that he forgives Ye and has even reacted positively to his Mexico concert on livestream.
