Rebecca Loos makes rare comment about Beckham family's image

Former Spice Girl Victoria and football star David Beckham’s polished public image has been thrust into fresh controversy after Rebecca Loos, once the couple’s personal assistant, weighed in on the family’s ongoing feud with their eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham.

Loos, known for her 2004 allegations of an affair with David Beckham, denied by him at the time, told media outlets that Brooklyn’s explosive Instagram statement appears to confirm long-standing claims that the Beckhams prioritize public image and promotion over authentic personal relationships. 

According to Daily Mail, Brooklyn’s post accused his parents of controlling media narratives, spreading stories to protect the “Beckham brand” and undermining his relationship with actress Nicola Peltz Beckham.

In one striking example, Brooklyn said his mother’s behavior at his 2022 wedding, where singer Marc Anthony invited Victoria to dance with him, left him “uncomfortable and humiliated.” 

Moreover, Loos said this moment illustrated a lack of awareness and “reading the room,” arguing that it fits a pattern of valuing spectacle over sensitivity.

As per the outlet, Loos described the situation as part of a larger public relations battle, suggesting Brooklyn’s willingness to speak openly may expose cracks in the façade the Beckham family has presented for decades. 

Furthermore, she added that his willingness to speak out publicly has garnered her sympathy, particularly for Nicola’s treatment amid the fallout.
