Paris Hilton is opening up her friendship with Britney Spears, and revealing what they recently chatted about.

The duo has experienced their fair share of public scrutiny when they were younger, via brutal netizens and tabloids critiquing their every move and the socialite has dished on how that shaped their bond.

In an appearance on I've Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario the mother-of-two stated, "I was just with Britney a few weeks ago for her birthday in Mexico and we were just talking about how cruel and mean-spirited people were back then.”

Paris continued, “And she is someone that can relate to that. Very few people can. It has made us both so strong,” adding later, "Back then it was entertainment to tear down women. It was very isolating.”

The House of Wax actress also revealed that if she could go back in time to advise her younger self, she would tell herself to stay strong because all the pain she’d endure would be worth it one day.

Notably, Paris and Britney have been vocal with their support for one another in recent years and continue to support each other’s creative endeavours.
