The A lister couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had a dramatic turn in the ongoing financial and business disputes.
Amid the wedlock in August 2014, the couple remained married only for two years later separating in September 2016.
The duo dragged each other for almost eight years, later settled their divorce on December 31, 2024.
According to the recent confirmation of the Fox News Digital, a Judge recently ruled in favor of the 62-year-old.
The magistrate ordered Jolie to turn over 22 previously undisclosed documents.
Reportedly, the documents contain Jolie's private text messages and emails related to the selling process, which could undermine the Tomb Raider star's position.
The film producer alleged that the sale of the co-owned $67 million worth Château Miraval breached a contract between the two.
As per the legal experts the documents, including Jolie's private text messages, could be "outcome-changing or even outcome-determinative" to Pitt's case against the actress.
Attorney Tre Lovell stated his expertise that while the discovery ruling is very common, it could be a big win for Pitt.
"The parties to litigation have disputes all the time as to what documents must be produced, what questions must be answered and what discovery responses need to be addressed as opposed to pure objections," he explained.
"Obviously, these documents are believed to be very damning against Jolie due to the extent and effort her attorneys expended to avoid producing them. It appears to be a big win for Pitt."
It is to mention that the next trial is expected to begin on February 1, 2027.
