Gabrielle Union opens up about daughter Kaavia's 'passion' for gymnastics

Gabrielle Union has shared new insights into her daughter Kaavia James’s blossoming interests, highlighting the seven-year-old’s love for gymnastics.

 peaking at a recent event, Union described her first-grader as a highly energetic child who enjoys a wide range of activities, from dance and tennis to horseback riding and golf, but noted that gymnastics appears to be her greatest passion.

Union spoke candidly about Kaavia’s enthusiasm, saying the youngster throws herself into every activity she tries, with gymnastics standing out. 

According to People, she even joked about her daughter’s potential future in the sport, mentioning conversations with elite gymnast Jordan Chiles about how Kaavia’s height could make her one of the tallest competitors someday.

The actress and her husband, former NBA star Dwyane Wade, welcomed Kaavia via surrogate and have been outspoken about raising their blended family, which includes Wade’s older children from previous relationships. 

Moreover, Union has often shared glimpses of family life, including celebrations like Kaavia’s Hello Kitty-themed seventh birthday and her recent kindergarten graduation.

As per the outlet, Union’s reflections on parenting express both pride and joy as she watches her daughter grow and explore her interests.
