Mr Bean back in headlines after Mia Khalifa’s savage swipe

Rowan Atkinson, best known worldwide as the bumbling Mr Bean, unexpectedly found himself at the centre of a viral dating rumour after social media went into meltdown over an alleged romance with Mia Khalifa.

However, the speculation has now been firmly shut down by Khalifa herself.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the 32-year-old addressed the chatter head-on with her trademark humour.

“Guys,” she wrote, “I am dating a fool — but it’s not Mr Bean.”

Her post quickly went viral, earning praise from fans for cutting through the noise.

Others used the moment to vent their frustration, with one user commenting, “Nobody fact-checks anything anymore.”

Earlier this month, a satirical Instagram page, @theduderumourreport, shared what appeared to be a cosy snap of Atkinson and Khalifa lounging together on a luxury yacht.

The image, later believed to be AI-generated, was posted purely for laughs but many users quickly took the bait.

Comments flooded in within hours, with one hopeful fan writing, “Please let this be true!!!” while another added, “Praying this is real.”

The bizarre pairing sparked endless memes, debates and disbelief across platforms.

Khalifa has long since stepped away from adult entertainment and now focuses on fashion, content creation and business ventures. 

Meanwhile, Atkinson, 71, continues to enjoy a steady acting career and was most recently seen in Netflix’s comedy series Man vs. Baby.
