A$AP Rocky appears to have a soft spot for Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, as he dishes his thoughts on the Runaway rapper.
The Jukebox Joints collaborators maintained a close friendship as of late, and the 37-year-old has a nuanced opinion on the 48-year-old.
In a recent interview, the Don’t Be Dumb creator stated that rappers like the Flashing Lights hit maker, Pharrell, Jay-Z and others associated with Roc-A-Fella Records knocked down the door for rappers like him to emerge, “They ran so we could walk.”

The fashion designer then went back to the point that they knocked down the door and prepared future rappers with their experiences in terms of what they should and shouldn’t do in the industry.
Notably, the 24-time Grammy winner has often been respected and praised by other rappers for his contributions to the hip-hop genre but denounced for his racist and overall problematic remarks and antics.
Yeezy, which is a Fashion brand and record label was founded by Ye, better known as Kanye West, in August 2013.
