Jason Statham has candidly confessed that his drive to push boundaries has not faded over the years.
During a recent conversation with BBC, the 58-year-old stated that he is still motivated to do his own stunts. However, this ambition comes at a cost.
"There have been a lot of stunts where I went too far," he started.
"When you get hurt, a lot of the time you think, 'why did I do that, why didn't I get a stunt man to do that?" — questions that continue to swirl in his mind.
The veteran star went on to share, "I've hurt my neck a few times, I've hurt a lot of things a few times and that reminds you of your mistakes."
Moreover, he wants to remain healthy to benefit his family and has an "in for a penny, in for a pound" mentality.
Jason explained that he likes to get in front of the camera and do as much as possible.
"I've spent many years learning different disciplines and given I have the technical skills to take on these complex action sequences, I like to get stuck in," he concluded.
Work-wise, 2026 for Jason Statham is packed with the action-thriller Shelter in January, Mutiny, and a new project of Guy Ritchie, Viva La Madness.
