Kanye West ‘set to perform in India for first time ever’: Details inside

Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, could finally be heading to India as a live performer for the very first time and fans are already losing their minds.

According to fresh reports, the global hip-hop icon is planning to bring his world tour to India in April 2026, marking a historic moment for the country’s rapidly growing live music scene. 

If confirmed, the concerts would place India alongside elite global tour destinations and cement its status as a serious player on the international music circuit.

Industry insiders claim the 24-time Grammy winner is eyeing a series of large-scale shows, with organisers aiming for a spectacle on par with recent blockbuster tours by Coldplay and Ed Sheeran. 

While there has been no official confirmation from Ye’s camp yet, the buzz within the music business is growing louder by the day.

Although this would be Runaway hitmaker’s debut as a live performer in India, it wouldn’t be his first visit. 

For those unfamiliar, he previously travelled to the country in 2009 for spiritual exploration and returned in 2012 while promoting his fashion brand, staying at Mumbai’s iconic Taj Mahal Palace. 

Still, fans have waited more than 20 years to see him perform on Indian soil.

Moreover, the timing feels perfect as India’s appetite for major international acts has exploded, driven by sold-out stadium gigs and global festivals. 

Adding fuel to the rumours that the rapper may perform tracks from his upcoming album Bully.
