‘DWTS’ Robert Irwin addresses relationship status following big win

Robert Irwin set the record straight about his relationship status after winning Mirrorball trophy on Dancing with the Stars season 34.

The Australian conversationalist during the TV show was rumoured to be in relationship with Xochitl Gomez, season 32 champion.

The speculations sparked after he and Gomez danced during the franchise's 20th anniversary.

However, during his appearance on the Kip & Corey show on KIIS FM, Irwin shut down the rumours.

When asked about his dating life, he revealed that he is single and would love to meet a romantic partner soon.

Irwin added, "Oh definitely. It's one of these things where I'm like, at this point in my life, you've got to let it happen."

The zoo keeper explained that while normally he is travelling "100 miles an hour" but since there is nothing much going on, "I'm open to it … watch this space."

Irwin won DWTS trophy a decade after his sister Bindi Irwin won.

He said that winning the trophy after almost 10 years his sister's win meant "everything to him" and that the experience that the "absolutely changed my life."

Up next, Irwin is heading to South Africa for the next season of Australia's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, which he's been co-hosting since 2023 alongside Julia Morris.
