James Gunn has seemingly hinted at the commencing of Superman: Man of Tomorrow production.
The co-CEO of DC who directed reboot version of Man of Steel is set to helm its sequel.
While the release date and villain Brainiac starring Lars Eidinger has been confirmed, there have been rare updates about the making of the film.
Lately, the Guardian of the Galaxy filmmaker shared a photo of the iconic superhero on X (formerly Twitter), with caption, "Entering the Fortress. #Superman."
The post seemingly hints at the film heading towards its production.
About the movie, Gunn has previously teased the fans with a comic image of Superman with Lex Luthor hinting at an uneasy alliance against a new extra-terrestrial enemy.
While the production rumours are yet to be confirmed, Gunn in his threads also give some titbits about his other projects.
While talking about Batman and Wonder Woman making an appearance in the upcoming film, Gunn said, "No. All the rumours of Batman and Wonder Woman auditions are false."
Superman, marked the first directorial debut since joining DC universe.
The movie became 2025’s highest grossing film with more than $616 million globally.
Superman: Man of Tomorrow will be released on July 9, 2027.
