Chelsea Handler’s blunt confession sparks debate

Chelsea Handler has made it very clear that if you’re not into partying, you’re not her type. 

The 50-year-old comedian opened up on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast about her love of recreational drugs from LSD to MDMA and how that shapes her dating life.

“I love all drugs. I love LSD. I love MDMA,” Handler admitted, laughing off the stigma. 

“I mean, I don’t love cocaine and heroin – those are gross – but I’ve definitely tried them. Drugs are a mind expander. They’re for me.” 

She added that with today’s trend of micro-dosing, there’s nothing to fear: “You’re not gonna get that f---ed up anyway.”

Handler also made it clear she’s not interested in dating someone who’s sober. 

“No. If I’m gonna date a guy, they’re gonna have to party. I like to get loose. And by the way, I’m 50. I’m a perfect shining example of drugs enhancing my life. I do have it together!”

The comic, who previously dated fellow comedian Jo Koy for around a year, spoke fondly of their relationship and called it life-changing, though it ultimately wasn’t meant to last. 

“I really believed this was my guy… but it just became clear this was not my person,” she said.

While Handler didn’t spill much about her new romance, she confirmed she’s seeing someone, leaving fans curious about who has caught her eye.
