Mickey Rourke’s eviction notice because he had around $60,000 on unpaid rent on his Los Angeles home had made headlines, which subsequently kicked off a GoFundMe and a number of misunderstandings.
The former professional boxer received upwards of $100,000 by fans and supporters, but the 73-year-old is very upset by it and is determined to have the money returned.
It was started by the Sin City actor’s manager Kimberly Hines assistant named Liya-Joelle Jones who noted in the GoFundMe that it was "created with Mickey’s full permission."
However, the actor himself has harshly and severely denounced the donations, writing in his latest Instagram post that him and his team was working towards refunding the money.
“My last post today" iam "sooo upset & enbarassed "about "SCAM" TO RAISE MONEY FOR ME!! WHICH WAS AS IVE STATED A CRUEL ENBARRASMENT,” Mickey said in his latest post.
“TRUTHFULLY THERE IS STILL OVER 90 THOUSAND DOLLARS THAT STILL NEEDS TO BE REFUNDED TO CONCERNED PARTYS THAT SENT THERE MONEY. PLEASE PEOPLE GET YER MONEY THE PERSON WHO PULLED THIS CRAP SHOULDNT GET ONE FUCEN DOLLAR,” he added in the post.
The Man On Fire actor also gave a shout out to his friend Eric Dane and asked for prayers for him amid the latter’s battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Mickey has had fillers in his forehead, lips, and cheeks.
