KPop Demon Hunters became a global phenomenon after it was released on June 20, 2025, gaining massive success with its song Golden in particular.

The movie became extremely popular, gaining more than 236 million views on the streaming platform and was ranked on the "Top 10 most popular movies."

EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami were the performers of famous track Golden by the trio in the animated film, named HUNTR/X.

The 34-year-old singer was moved to tears as she accepted the honour at the prestigious ceremony.

After the new milestone achievement, fans reached a conclusion on social media platforms with one X user comparing Golden to Let It Go from Frozen.

According to a fan, “KPop Demon Hunters is the new Frozen” while Elsa can be compared to Rumi. The resemblance is being drawn from the reaction of young audience.

It is being speculated that children will “be cosplaying” as the trio every Halloween, just like they used to look up to Elsa from Frozen which was released in December 2013.

This came after the animated action made history by winning at the Critics Choice Awards in the category Best Animated Feature and Best Song.

Is Golden back on Billboard charts?

It was recently reported that the lead track has returned back on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart this week, however, it missed its top rank on Global 200 as Taylor Swift continues to dominate.
