Wumni Mosaku stood out at the Golden Globes red carpet for her look, and the actress also took the opportunity to share a heartwarming life update.
The Sinners star looked like a vision in a bright yellow, flowy dress as she graced the red carpet and held on to her baby bump, effectively announcing her second pregnancy.
In an interview with Vogue that came out alongside the award show appearance, the Nigerian-British actress addressed the world.
“I have some news. Beautiful, personal, sacred news. A prayer, really. It’s something I want to hold close—to nurture quietly, to meditate on and manifest with those who can truly hold me in the light as all this beauty and change unfolds,” Wumni began.
“The success of Sinners, a project that has gifted me with more than I could imagine, a cast and crew who've become like family and the undeniable support of movie goers, has also given me a new visibility. I’ll be in the public eye for the coming weeks…” she added.
Wumni went on to write in the beautiful and moving piece that she was advised to get ahead of speculation around her body but that she hoped that onlookers would just let women be, and not scrutinise their bodies.
Wumni left Vera to because she wanted to pursue other projects Stateside.
