Travis Kelce, who is the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, also shares a close bond with his teammate Clyde Edwards-Helaire and the latter has shared a story of the former’s fiancée Taylor Swift being thoughtful about their friendship.
The 14-time Grammy winner apparently developed a friendship with the running back and his now wife, JoJo soon after she began dating the sports podcast host.
However the Ruin The Friendship singer could not attend Clyde’s wedding since she was performing in Dublin, Ireland during the Eras Tour at the time.
Taylor then phoned the soon-to-be married couple to apologise for missing their big day due to her obligations.
Travis was also with his now-fiancée at the time and the 26-year-old National Football League player anticipated that his close friend also would not be able to make it.
However, the 36-year-old songwriter made her then-boyfriend fly out from Europe to the United States so that he could attend the wedding.
Clyde recalled telling Travis at the time “Bro, you don’t have to,’” referring to him having to fly ack to which the latter responded “Nah, Taylor’s already sending me. It’s good.”
Notably, the two professional athletes share a strong bond and friendship, with the New Heights host even helping the Louisiana native with his PTSD.
Taylor is getting married to the National Football League player Travis Kelce, after the pair announced their engagement in August.
