Chelsea Handler includes a suggestive remark about Benicio del Toro in her monologue
Chelsea Handler took her chance to flirt with Benicio del Toro while hosting the Critics Choice Awards, and the actor has now responded.
The comedian addressed the 58-year-old during her opening monologue by complimenting his acting chops, and at the end adding a remark that she was open to more.
"Benicio, where are you? You’ve had a phenomenal year this year, and we need to see more of you. Stop being so selective about what you do, I need you in more movies, in more TV shows, in room 708 at the Andaz Hotel tonight,” Chelsea said at the ceremony on January 6.
In a recent report by People, Benicio revealed what he thought of the suggestive remark and the compliments to his projects after remaining quiet and simply flashing a smile at the time.
"I thought it was pretty funny,” the Academy Award winner, who played sensei Sergio St. Carlos in the 2025 movie stated, adding that he thought "it was pretty sexy."
Notably, Chelsea is currently dating someone in private so it is unlikely that a romance between the two takes.
