Sophie Turner arrives in high fashion amid 'Tomb Raider' prep

Sophie Turner turned heads with a striking fashion moment upon arriving at CBS Studios this week as she shared fresh updates on her preparation to reprise the legendary character Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider live-action series. 

The Game of Thrones alum, known for her role as Sansa Stark, appeared confident in a high-fashion outfit that blended glamour with old-Hollywood sophistication, underscoring her rising profile as one of Hollywood’s versatile talents.

Alongside her public appearance, Turner revealed that she has been undergoing an intensive training regimen for nearly a year to prepare for the physically demanding part of the iconic adventurer ahead of the series’ shoot, which is set to begin in January. 

According to Daily Mail, the long-term preparation, she said, has focused not only on physical strength, agility and stunt work but also on fully embodying the character’s blend of resilience, athleticism and emotional depth. 

Turner insisted she feels ready and excited for audiences to see her take on the role.

Moreover, Tomb Raider marks a new iteration of the franchise for Amazon Prime Video, with acclaimed writer-creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge leading the creative team and additional cast members, including Sigourney Weaver and Martin Bobb-Semple, joining the ambitious project.
