Timothée Chalamet praises Kylie Jenner in emotional Critics Choice Awards

At the 31st annual Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica, California, acclaimed actor Timothée Chalamet delivered one of the night’s most memorable moments when he publicly expressed his love and gratitude for partner Kylie Jenner during his acceptance speech on Sunday.

Chalamet won the Best Actor award for his leading performance in Marty Supreme, a sports-drama film that has dominated early awards-season buzz. 

After thanking fellow nominees, his film’s cast and crew, and director Josh Safdie, Chalamet paused to honor Jenner, who was seated in the audience.

“Thank you to my partner of three years,” Chalamet said, visibly moved. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you.” 

Cameras cut to Jenner mouthing “I love you” in response, prompting applause and a tender moment between the couple.

According to Daily Mail, the pair has largely kept their relationship private since first being linked in 2023 but have made occasional high-profile appearances together on the red carpet. 

Moreover, their joint presence at last night’s ceremony included affectionate gestures, shared laughter, and a kiss when Chalamet’s win was announced.

Chalamet’s victory over a strong field, including contenders such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael B. Jordan, underscored the actor’s rising acclaim. 

As per the outlet, industry observers noted that his heartfelt tribute to Jenner marked one of the rare times he has publicly discussed his personal life at an awards event.
