Marcello Hernandez has no plans to leave his Saturday Night Live characters, especially Domingo, which is wildly popular among fans.
During a conversation with E! News at the red carpet of the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards on January 4, the 28-year-old comedian reassured fans regarding his plan to stay on the comedy sketch show.
The 72 Hours star punched, "I'm there, I'm there, I'm there," admitting to having a blast on the long-running show. He said, "I'm having fun, bro. It's a crazy job,"
Furthermore, he described his cast members, adding, "You get to meet so many crazy people and I love it."
Amid the departure of his fellow cast member from the show, Bowen Yang, Marcello paid tribute to him, stating, "I look at it like sports. That's a guy who put up numbers. Consistent, always putting up big sketches and he had a distinct voice, and everybody loves him."
The star went on to reveal the secret behind his co-mate's perfect work, "He's a hard worker, I saw him behind the scenes grinding every week. It's a guy to learn from, for sure."
Notably, while chatting, Marcello shared that he is excited to meet his friends and favorite people.
The star jabbered, “I saw Rhea [Seehorn] from Pluribus, freaked out, I have my whole family on that right now. Everybody, dude."
It's funny, you watch all these shows, my mom is a serial series watcher. So I'm trying to get a couple of selfies for her," adding, "I'm getting it done.”
