Lady Gaga and The Weeknd sent fans in to a frenzy as they picked up on minor hints that pointed towards a possible collaboration coming soon.
The 39-year-old singer has gone through a rebirth as she released her album Mayhem. On the other hand, the Blinding Light hitmaker is reportedly nearing the retirement of famous persona.
It is now reported that the two musicians are looking forward to work together on the official FIFA World Cup song, replacing Beyonce.
After the news went viral, the online community reacted with one X user pointing out: “I [redacted] knew they had been working together behind the scenes.”
A critic expressed, “the committee knew” that Diva crooner “was the wrong choice” and so they chose the “best option” to replace her.
Many were of the opinion that the Poker Face singer is always the second choice, noting: “No one ever thinks of her 1st”
The Bad Romance crooner and Abel’s collaboration seems plausible as she recently appeared on a podcast and addressed the ongoing buzz.
