Angelina Jolie is ready to turn the page, and she can’t wait to do it far away from Hollywood.
The 50-year-old actress has reportedly put her Los Angeles home on the market as she prepares for a major life move abroad.
According to insiders, Angelina is feeling “excited” and optimistic about what lies ahead, with one source telling People she’s eager for a future that no longer revolves around LA.
“She’s ready for a life that isn’t centred in Los Angeles,” the insider revealed.
“There are a lot of projects she’s excited about and she’s feeling good. She’s really looking forward to 2026 and the flexibility she’ll have then.”
The move has apparently been years in the making.
Another source previously claimed the Maleficent actress never wanted to live in Los Angeles full-time but felt she had no choice due to custody arrangements with ex-husband Brad Pitt, whom she divorced in 2019.
Now, with twins Knox and Vivienne set to turn 18 next year, she’s finally free to relocate.
“She plans to move as soon as the twins are 18,” the source said.
“She’s eyeing several locations abroad and will be very happy when she leaves LA.”
Meanwhile, Mr. & Mrs. Smith star says her outlook on life and work has evolved.
Reflecting on her role as opera legend Maria Callas in 2024’s Maria, the Oscar winner admitted her life experiences have deepened her perspective.
“When I was younger, I had different questions about being human,” she said. “Now I understand some things — and I have different questions.”
