Kanye West was notable for stirring controversies throughout this year but it appears he’s bringing a major shift in his ways for 2026.
The 43-year-old singer is back in spotlight, this time for not letting anyone else take over his work that remained unfinished.
Ye’s 2022 album WAR leaked on the internet during Christmas season when it went viral for its melancholic vibes and melodies.
The unfinished project, which consists of the Yeezy owner’s freestyles, was scrapped initially due to the rapper’s controversial opinions.
After it surfaced, a lesser known rapper Albe Back claimed he was a ghost writer of “Virgil’s funeral,” which was a tribute to Virgil ABloh.
The I Wonder hitmaker turned to his X (formerly Twitter) to write: “This is not real” before issuing a longer statement as Albe gushed he would “pass a poly for sure.”
He cleared the air by telling the musician to “Ask James Blake.” The singer clarified that the leaked studio record was “made from freestyles that I did… over his beats.”
Kanye highlighted that the songs have “missing words… The melody is super special when I sing ‘always.’”
This is the second online buzz that Ye addressed himself as he recently shut down the circulating bucket list which had many bizarre stunts being labelled as the singer’s desires.
One of the noticeable goals was to learn to pole dance.
