Taylor Swift’s ability to dominate charts and have star power that makes her stand out among her peers has become evident.

The Mastermind singer has defied all odds time and time again, and her beloved track off of The Life of a Showgirl has as well.

As per Billboard’s Hot 100 ranking of songs, the top nine spots are taken by Christmas and holiday music, with the most consumed one being Mariah Carey’s holiday classic All I Want for Christmas Is You.

The list is followed by Jingle Bell Rock, Last Christmas, Ariana Grande’s Santa Tell Me, Kelly Clarkson’s Underneath the Tree and at the number ten spot is The Fate of Ophelia.

Taylor’s latest single has spent weeks in the number one spot on the charts in America and as per Forbes, the song might make a comeback after listeners depart from the festive spirit.

The outlet predicts that by January, the track might climb back up the tracks along with others such as Golden by KPop Demon Hunters and others like Alex Warren, Olivia Dean and other recent favourites might return.

Notably, the 14-time Grammy winner has been consistently creating chart-topping hits in her nearly two-decade long career, which reflect her popularity and dominion in pop culture.

Why is The Fate of Ophelia so catchy?

The melodies and the hook in The Fate of Ophelia are seemingly what make it so popular and beloved among fans.
