Nicole Kidman has chosen a very familiar place to heal this Christmas and this is her home.

The 58-year-old Hollywood star has flown back to Australia with her two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, to spend the festive season Down Under after her shock split from husband Keith Urban.

It marks her first Christmas since the couple quietly went their separate ways earlier this year.

According to insiders, the Babygirl actress was desperate for some peace after what’s been described as an emotionally draining few months.

it's worth noting that being back in her native Australia was top of her wish list.

Sources say Kidman is “thrilled” to be surrounded by family, sunshine and familiar comforts as she focuses on her girls and rebuilding her sense of calm.

The Big Little Lies star was recently spotted at a festive gathering showing off her natural curls, a rare, relaxed sight that fans took as a sign she’s embracing a fresh chapter.

Friends say Christmas at home feels grounding for her after the end of her 19-year marriage to the country music star.

The former couple, who met in 2005 and married a year later, are said to be putting their children first.

Court documents reveal they’ve agreed on a parenting arrangement and a mutual promise to avoid public criticism of one another.

While rumours continue to swirl around Urban’s personal life, Kidman appears focused on family, reflection and a quieter festive season far from Hollywood glare.

After a turbulent year, this Christmas is less about glamour and more about healing and for Nicole, there’s no place like home.
