Sadie Sink has described her blossoming modelling career as nothing short of a “dream come true.”
The 23-year-old Stranger Things star first stepped onto the runway back in 2018 when she made her modelling debut for cult label Undercover, just months after becoming a global name as fiery Max Mayfield.
Since then, Sadie has walked for luxury fashion houses including Miu Miu, firmly cementing her place in the fashion world.
And it turns out her love for style began long before the spotlight.
Speaking to ELLE Australia, Sadie revealed she was sketching dresses as a child, often turning it into a game with her brother Mitchell.
The pair would dream up outfits for imaginary events, complete with colour challenges and themes.
Now, she says, getting to combine acting with fashion and work with brands she once only admired from afar feels surreal.
Most recently, she starred alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in Prada’s Re-Nylon campaign, which focuses on sustainability through regenerated nylon.
The actress said she was proud to be part of such an important environmental conversation, praising Prada’s impact in the space.
Despite her fashion credentials, Sadie admits the red carpet still overwhelms her.
To cope, she sticks to outfit that feel true to herself.
“I like looking like myself,” she explained, adding that confidence comes from comfort and letting her freckles shine.
