Kim Kardashian has lifted the lid on the emotional toll of her long-running law journey, revealing she suffered a “mental breakdown” just days before sitting her bar exam.
The 45-year-old reality star and business mogul, who has spent six gruelling years training to become a lawyer, admitted the pressure finally caught up with her in the run-up to the exam she ultimately failed.
In a raw moment shown on The Kardashians, filmed just nine days before the test, Kim confessed she was completely drained.
“I’m absolutely gonna cry, ’cause it’s f****** exhausting,” she said, admitting she had “hit a wall” with her revision.
As if the stress wasn’t enough, Kanye West's ex-wife was also battling a painful back injury that left her barely able to walk or even sit down.
“Every time I think I get to another step, something pulls me back,” she explained, describing a series of “roadblocks” that pushed her to breaking point.
Despite always believing she was too mentally tough to crumble under pressure, Kim admitted she finally understood why so many people warn that the bar exam can trigger emotional overload.
Before results came in, she had insisted she wouldn’t retake the exam if she failed, citing time and age concerns. However, after missing out, she struck a far more defiant tone.
Posting on Instagram, she joked about playing a lawyer on TV before adding: “Failing short isn’t failure — it’s fuel.”
For the unversed, the SKIMS founder had earlier blamed ChatGPT for her failure, admitting she relied heavily on artificial intelligence while studying for the exam.
