Rob Reiner’s death leaves Dick Van Dyke sleepless

American acting legend Dick Van Dyke is mourning the death of old friend Rob Reiner.

Rob Reiner and his wife Michele’s death has struck Hollywood in a harrowing manner leaving their friends mourning their untimely loss.

The couple were found dead with stab wounds in their Brentwood home by their daughter Romy who lived across the street.

Dick, who recently turned 100 a day before the couple’s tragic death, is having trouble sleeping, as revealed by his wife.

On Monday, Dick’s wife, Arlene Silver, spoke about the traumatising incident in an Instagram video.

Arlene spoke about the tragedy saying “Such a weird, wonderful, awful weekend.”

“I can't not talk about this horrible thing... I mean, Dick's birthday was so amazing, so over-the-top beautiful, and then this. I was relieved and happy, and then this happened yesterday.” she added.

The 54-year-old said her husband “didn't sleep” explaining thet he “wanted to stay up” after he received the news.

“We didn’t know what happened. It just said, the first reports are two people found in the house” she added.

Dick met Rob through his father Carl Reiner, who created The Dick Van Dyke Show.
