Anderson Cooper apologizes for calling Trump ‘obese turtle’

CNN anchor, Anderson Cooper feels sorry for calling Donald Trump ‘an obese turtle’. Anderson bashed Trump after he claimed that the election was fraud.

Cooper said, “That is the president of the United States. That is the most powerful person in the world. And we see him like an obese turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun, realizing his time is over”.

However, many people found his comment offensive and wrong.

On Saturday, when the presidential election result was announced and Biden was declared as the winner, Cooper expressed regret for his remarks for Trump in a discussion with Andrew Yang.

“By the way, I should say, I regret using those words because that’s not the person I really wanna be. It was in the moment, and I regret it.” Anderson apologized.
