Millie Bobby Brown rose to fame with her role of Eleven in Netflix original Stranger Things as she led the series for five seasons.
Although the 21-year-old is rooting for the upcoming finale of the show, Millie made a shocking remark about Netflix that ignited an online debate.
In Fortune article, the Damsel lead revealed that she is still using her parent’s account on the streaming giant.
Despite being a millionaire, the Hollywood actress noted that she refused “to pay” subscriptions charges because “my parents pay” and she’s “part of the family deal.”
However, the online community was not content with the update as an X user was shocked to know that “actors don’t get free Netflix accounts.”
Another netizen was of the opinion that the platform “is insanely greedy,” while another called out their approach.
A third fan playfully agreed with Millie, admitting that they are “never leaving my ex’s account either… You can break up with me but Netflix says we’re still together.”
The second volume is about to premiere on December 25 as the first volume of finale earned massive views of 59.6 million.
Eight and final ever episode will officially wrap the story of the Upside Down, which will be made available for streaming on New Year’s eve.
