King Charles’s cancer type still remains a secret despite the new update.

The monarch diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in 2024 which he has been receiving treatment for.

The details of Charles’ health battle have remained a secret but he shared a video message on Friday to give an update on his treatment journey and raise awareness for cancer.

The Palace confirmed that the king’s recovery has reached a notably positive stage. However, the word “remission” was not used.

As per the Palace spokesperson, the decision to keep the king’s cancer type a secret is a deliberate decision.

“The advice from cancer experts is that, in his determination to support the whole cancer community, it is preferable that His Majesty does not address his own specific condition but rather speaks to those affected by all forms of the disease”, the person explained.

The only detail about his health that was confirmed earlier was that it is not prostrate cancer.

In the new message sent by Charles himself, it was revealed that his schedule of cancer treatment will be reduced, marking a positive step in his recovery.
