Hugh Jackman is proving he knows more about Wicked than Cynthia Erivo and surprising her with his knowledge of some key moments.

The Logan actor, who has theatre and movie musical roots himself, spoke about Marc Platt, the genius behind the Broadway musical.

In their episode of Variety’s Actors on Actors segment, the Wicked: For Good actress asked, “I was today years old when I found out that your first time on Broadway was the same time that ‘Wicked’ started. When was that?”

“2003. You were a baby. I was in ‘The Boy From Oz,’ and ‘Wicked’ was a smash. We were all at the Tonys together. ‘Wicked’ didn’t win. But when they announced it — do you know this?” Jackson replied before spilling about the two times Marc was snubbed.

The Greatest Showman star recalled the that they announced the best musical category and flashed Wicked on the screen before announcing Avenue Q.

Jackson then continued telling a shocked Erivo, who had asked for the "trivia," that this was not the only time the BAFTA winner was treated unfairly.

Jackson revealed that he had the Academy Award for La La Land in his hand on stage in 2017, when they took it from him to award it to Moonlight after a mix-up had occurred.
