American actor Eric Dane is set to release a tell-all memoir.
The actor, who rose to fame from the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year.
The 53-year-old will open up about his ALS battle and career in the upcoming memoir.
Eric is keen to “capture the moments that shaped” in the upcoming book titled Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments.
The Euphoria star said “I wake up every morning, and I'm immediately reminded that this is real - this illness, this challenge and that's exactly why I'm writing this book.”
He opened up about this move ahead o the release of Euphoria Season 3.
“I want to capture the moments that shaped me - the beautiful days, the hard ones, the ones I never took for granted - so that if nothing else, people who read it will remember what it means to live with heart.”, he said.
Eric hopes that other people will “find meaning in their own days”.
He was diagnosed with ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks nerve cells and causes loss of muscle control, earlier this year which has been progressing.
