Kim Kardashian is said to have hit her breaking point when it comes to Kanye West’s role in their children’s lives, or lack thereof.
According to a Globe insider, the reality star has been growing increasingly frustrated over what she sees as Kanye’s ongoing absence from co-parenting.
The source claims Kim has begun seriously considering a legal move. “She’s saying she may as well go for full custody. She sees no reason why she wouldn’t get it,” the insider shared.
Kim seemed to hint at the tension herself during a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she revealed, “It’s probably been a couple of months since we’ve heard from him.”
Those close to the Skims founder say that moment wasn’t a slip it was a sign of how fed up she’s become.
Insiders add that Kim worries most about how her kids are affected. “She’s done being walked on by him, but more than anything, she’s done letting him disappoint their children,” a source explained.
The same insider even claimed Kim has floated the idea of changing their kids’ last names to Kardashian.
Kanye's side of the story
A separate report paints a very different picture. Sources previously told Heat that Kanye feels he is the one being shut out.
“Kanye is accusing Kim of cutting him out and twisting the narrative to make him the villain,” the insider said, adding that Ye believes a “wall” has been put between him and the kids.
The report goes further, claiming Kanye finds it “triggering” to see how much the children have changed since he hasn’t been present day-to-day.
He still insists he loves them deeply especially North, who he reportedly says remains “the apple of his eye.”
These latest claims arrive just after Kim detailed another painful chapter: Kanye allegedly accusing her of staging her 2016 Paris robbery for TV. On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim described the accusation as “a knife to my heart.”
Kim and Kanye, who married in 2014 and finalised their divorce in 2021, continue to co-parent their four children though, judging by the latest reports, that arrangement may be on shaky ground yet again.
