Jessica Simpson, who started her career at the age old 17 recently addressed her early days in the industry as a musician.
The singer who is known as a prominent figure in the industry now, addressed why she never felt “good enough” to be a pop star.
During her concert on Sunday, December 7 in Connecticut, the 45-year-old gushed how it feels like when you are young and working and stated, “I tried but I will say when you're younger you just never feel good enough and it's okay to not feel good enough.
She encouraged her fans that it is okay to feel that way and to embrace oneself even if they feel like it is not worth it.
The Sweet Kisses star added, “a really hard time of my life I just kinda had to surrender myself to the intuition to the light that was in front of me and just focus on that."
Jessica also disclosed how at one point her music-driven career became just a “job” and she didn’t feel like her authentic self because everything around her was manufactured.
