Chris Pratt has opened up about the moment he first met wife Katherine Schwarzenegger and it wasn’t with a little help from her famous family.
The 46-year-old actor, widely recognised for his iconic film Guardians of the Galaxy, dismissed rumours that his mother-in-law, Maria Shriver, played a role in their romance.
During a chat on FOX & Friends, he revealed, “That’s actually not true.”
“I met my wife in church. I was at a church in Hollywood, and I looked over and I saw her… and I thought, ‘Wow, she’s really cute.’”
Chris was actually there with his 13-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.
“I picked him up from the kids program and Jack and I met Katherine basically at the same time. And yes, the rest is history,” he recalled.
The Jurassic World actor previously admitted to sneaking glances at Katherine during church, joking: “You kind of don’t want to be like, ‘Whoa, who is that?’ at church… But I was kind of sneaking some glances.”
Their romance moved quickly, with Chris calling Arnold Schwarzenegger daughter the “woman of my dreams.”
And of course, no Chris story is complete without a nod to the Schwarzeneggers.
The Terminal List star quipped about Arnold: “There’s peer pressure, and then there’s Arnold Schwarzenegger peer pressure.”
