Camilla quietly honour Queen Elizabeth as she dines at Lilibet in London

Queen Camilla appears to have offered a subtle but touching tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, simply by choosing where to eat.

The 77-year-old royal was reportedly spotted dining at Lilibet’s, a newly opened luxury seafood restaurant in London’s Mayfair, and the name alone has fans talking.

The upscale spot sits at 17 Bruton Street, the exact address where Queen Elizabeth was born in 1926, and was designed as a glamorous homage to the late monarch.

The restaurant takes its name from the Queen’s beloved family nickname, “Lilibet”, the same name Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave their daughter.

The nickname was originally coined by King George V, after his granddaughter struggled to pronounce “Elizabeth,” and it remained part of her identity for the rest of her life. Even Prince Philip famously used it.

Although the Palace hasn’t commented on the outing, insiders claim Camilla wasn’t dining solo.

According to Daily Mail Diary Editor Richard Eden, the Queen was joined by her daughter, Laura Lopes. Eden wrote: “‘I think she was with her daughter, Laura,’ a fellow patron tells me.”

Camilla and Laura share a famously close bond, occasionally appearing at public events together, and fashion watchers often note how similar their styles are.

Laura, a successful art curator, is married to Harry Lopes and is mother to three of Camilla’s five grandchildren: Eliza, and twins Gus and Louis.
